Hi, My name is Liz

and I am the owner of Paint Oasis.

I am originally from Ontario and I studied fine arts at Queen’s University – you can see some of my paintings here.

Prior to starting my own company, I worked as a painter at a department store and also in the film industry; where over the years I developed the knowledge and skills and confidence to start a painting business of my own. For 20 years my company Paint Oasis has been providing high quality interior painting services to the Greater Vancouver area. I’m proud to say we have earned many repeat customers.

I train my crew to take the utmost care in properly protecting and respecting your property. We never leave a mess and are meticulous in cleaning up after our work. We work hard to finish your job on time so you don’t have to worry about complicating your schedule.

Wherever possible, we like to use high quality environmentally friendly paints from Benjamin Moore and Sherwin Williams. I find these products give the best finish, are long lasting, and won’t leave behind any strong smells or harmful chemicals.

  • Someone recommended Liz to me when I was looking for a painter. The process from beginning to end was hassle free. Liz was able to give me a tentative quote even before seeing the place which helped a lot in my budgeting. Plus she was also conscious of my budget and gave me a few options which could help to reduce my cost. I like her communicative style and sharing of knowledge of the paint. Before the job started, I was able to have a better idea of what to look for in the paint. The paint used could be Benjamin Moore or Sherwin Williams. With the color recommendations from Liz and my own research on paint color, I was able to have a consultation with Liz via email before the in person consultation and looking at the place to be painted. She did a great job and I will definitely use her services again if I need to paint my place again.

  • The quoting process was professional and thorough and we got exactly what we wanted at the end at a very fair price. The whole house interior was painted and Liz had a game plan to execute the work while we were still in the house without significantly interrupting our daily routines (two adults working from home, two teenagers going to school, a dog and two cats). The house has tree floors and 2000 sq ft of total area. The work started on a Wed and it was completed by the next Monday (no work during the weekend). We helped by removing stuff from the walls in preparation for the paint work as we wanted to return the home to its original condition in preparation for a potential sale and that helped speed up the work. In summary, kudos to Liz for the professional work and her personal touch. Highly recommended.

  • Liz Yendt offers an excellent interior painting service at a reasonable price. Precision painting is her fortay: great trim job! (tight spots, baseboards, door frames, and at the ceiling) Liz painted a two bedroom condo for us. Her special skills in painting furniture was also very useful as she gave new life to a fading Murphy bed in the 2nd bedroom. I highly recommend Liz. Her work is excellent. We're very happy!

Other painters may just have laid down their tools and walked away but they were both so patient, provided insightful feedback based on experience, and carried on with their very professional work. Liz, an artist in her past and private life, was extremely helpful with regard to colours and the modifications I needed to make to a colour consultant's recommendations. You can depend on her. I told both Liz and Desiree several times that I would be happy with their choices on pretty much anything because it was clear to me that they wanted the absolute best for me. That's what I got!   • Can't say enough good things about Interior Oasis Painting and Liz Yendt! I reached out on Monday desperate to get the studio in the garage painted that week. Liz got back to me the same day arranged to stop by at the end of the day we settled on colour and a quote and agreed to a Wednesday start. By Thursday afternoon the studio was beautifully complete and looked fabulous! Great work on time on budget friendly and professional. I was glad to recommend Liz to my neighbour who was looking for some work to be done as well.   • I moved to a new (old) townhouse. Liz and her crew did a very good job priming and painting my old 80's style decor. Liz was flexible when some furniture got delivered early, and when I arrived to clean up before the movers arrived, my floors were swept and washed and everything in its place.   • I was looking for a painter on short notice to paint my 660 square foot condo before my new tenant moved in. I sent out a few inquiries on the afternoon of December 31st. Interior Paint Oasis was the only one that replied that afternoon. I was already impressed. Liz gave me a quote that I was comfortable with and I booked her services even before the other painters replied. It took them 2 days to paint the condo and they did a great job.
